Help support Angeline House, an emergency housing shelter for women ready to transition to permanent housing. Up to 250 women use Angeline’s Day Center on a daily basis for access to meals, laundry, showers, activities, and connections to other services.
Located on 3rd and Lenora in Belltown, Angeline’s provides a safe and welcoming space for women experiencing homelessness.

Holiday Stocking Stuffer

Puyallup tribe of Indians

Each year on a Saturday in early December we gather to pack up to 300 Christmas stockings for the women of Angeline House. The stockings are filled with toiletries, socks, gloves, and goodies. It is our goal to give these women a little something special at this wonderful time of year. We want them to know they are not forgotten. For many of these women, this is their holiday.
This project is partially funded by a generous grant from the Puyallup Tribe (Owners of the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife).

Our members have donated many of the items necessary. Due to the large number we are filling, we are asking members of our community for help. If you would like to donate to this rewarding project, we would appreciate your help. We are looking for socks and gloves (the stretch kind), personal care items, and individually packaged goodies such as candy, chips, cookies, and nuts. We are especially looking for paperback books and costume jewelry we can wrap so each woman can have a wrapped present. If you have any jewelry you would like to donate, you can wrap it if you like. Or we can wrap it.
SEIU6 Property Services NW has graciously allowed us use of their conference room in their building located in Seattle.
